Thoroughly spoilt.

Mothers Day yesterday as you will know, if you live in the UK. Apparently it happens on different dates elsewhere.
I was thoroughly spoilt, Steven arrived first of all, straight from work, with a card, some beautiful flowers and a box of Black Magic chocolates, yum. My own Mom loved Black Magic, and they always make me think of her, so it was quite appropriate. I had only said that morning to Graham what I would have bought for her, and then Steven walked in with a box. Great minds...
Steven had only just driven away, off home for a nap having been at work since 5am, when Emma arrived with a card from her and Lee and another off Poppy. I also got a "mum" charm for my bracelet which I added to it immediately and then added it to my wrist.
We had a chat and a cuppa then headed off to pick up Lee and Poppy to have a meal at the Golf club, booked by Lee. They were both asleep on the sofa when we arrived so Lee rushed upstairs for a quick change and Em brushed Pops hair for her, adding a pink hair bobble and two sparkly slides.
"Your hair looks beautiful Poppy".
"Yes, I know Grandma!"
The meal was a carvery, very tasty, and Emma and I got a pink flowering plant to take home each. Poppy told me my flowers were beautiful.
Lily was round at our house so Emma, Lee and Poppy arrived back with us to fetch her, Emma stopping for a cuppa with Poppy while Lee sneaked off to the pub to "watch the end of the football".
Emma got 3 cards from Pops, two handmade and one from the shops, and some lovely flowers.
Two Mummies, thoroughly spoilt.
My kids are great. x
